Netflix subscribers have spent more than half a billion hours enjoying the films of Adam Sandler

April 19, 2017 by Robert Kojder

Depending on who you are and what you enjoy, the following news by either excite you or deeply disturb you to the core.

Ahead of last week’s release of the latest Adam Sandler movie Sandy Wexler, Netflix revealed some quarterly shareholder report information that featured this piece of information:

“Just ahead of the release of our third film from Adam Sandler, Sandy Wexler, we announced the renewal of our deal with Sandler to premiere an additional four films exclusively on Netflix around the world. We continue to be excited by our Sandler relationship and our members continue to be thrilled with his films. Since the launch of The Ridiculous 6, Netflix members have spent more than half a billion hours enjoying the films of Adam Sandler.”

For reference, The Ridiculous 6 was released in December 2015, and given the success that and its follow-up The Do-Over have seemingly enjoyed, it’s little surprise that the streaming service was keen to renew its deal with the star.

Are you excited for even more Netflix Adam Sandler comedies? Let us know below in the comments what you have thought of them so far…
