Clint Eastwood has cast real life U.S. heroes for his next film

July 12, 2017 by Samuel Brace

Legendary actor and filmmaker Clint Eastwood has hired real life American heroes for his next motion picture.

Anthony Sadler, Alek Skarlatos, and Spencer Stone have been hired to play themselves in Eastwood’s next film entitled The 15:17 to Paris.

The film will tell the true story of three U.S. men who helped to subdue a terrorist while travelling on a train destined for Paris.

Eastwood was initially looking for traditional actors to play the roles of the three men but at the last minute decided to have the real life heroes play themselves.

The three men are expected to have decent sized roles in the picture but the movie will chart their friendship from childhood to the moment that they acted aboard that train to Paris, suggesting that they might not be conventional leads.

The film is based on the book written by Sadler, Skarlatos, Stone, and Jeffrey E. Stern. Bruce Berman is executive produce the venture and Dorothy Blyskal will write the script.
