Monster Hunter: World Beta coming to PS+ users this December PLUS Horizon Zero Dawn Exclusive DLC

October 31, 2017 by Andrew Newton

Capcom have announced that Playstation Plus subscribers will be able to take part in an exclusive Beta for their upcoming Monster Hunter: World.  The beta will start on the 9th December and will run until the 12th December.  Capcom also announced that an exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn DLC will be available for Playstation gamers.  Watch the new trailers below to see more of this monster filled world.

Starting on the 9th December, the beta will allow Playstation Plus players to experience three quests on the hunt for strange, wonderful and powerful monsters: the Great Jagras, capable of swallowing other monsters whole, the Anjanath which roams the Ancient Forest and the armoured Barroth which dwells in the desert land of the Wildspire Waste.  These three quests will be available to attempt solo or online with friends.

Fans of Horizon Zero Dawn will love the themed DLC coming exclusively to the PS4 version of Monster Hunter: World.  This themed DLC will see players able to kit out their character to look like young machine hunter Aloy complete with Aloy’s bow and full armor set.  A Horizon Zero Dawn collaboration event quest will be available after launch and once completed will allow special materials to be obtained and used at the Smithy to forge special Horizon Zero Dawn collaboration equipment.

Monster Hunter: World will be available on the 26th January.
