Gotham’s Poison Ivy is set to undergo another transformation, with Deadline reporting that Peyton List (Mad Men, Frequency) has signed on to portray the character as a recurring guest star, either later in season four, or in season five.
“In the continuing evolution of Poison Ivy’s origin story, Ivy Pepper has been transformed once again taking another step toward becoming the Ivy we know from the comics,” reads a statement from the Gotham producers. “Dangerous. A live wire of crazy energy. She’ll set her sights on Gotham, intent on making the city her own green paradise.”
List – who previously appeared as the character of Lisa Snart in The CW’s The Flash – becomes the third actress to play Ivy on Gotham after Clare Foley and Maggie Geha.
