Gambit reportedly has a production budget of $155 million

December 19, 2017 by Samuel Brace

A report has surfaced claiming that the Gambit solo movie has a production budget of $155 million.

Filming for the X-Men spin off film Gambit, starring Channing Tatum, is set to begin in New Orleans in March 2018. The film has been in production for years with various hiccups and stumbles along the way.

Gore Verbinski (Pirates of the Caribbean) is the man that has landed in the director’s chair, and the film, at this time, is slated for a February 2019 release.

Gambit also seems like it will be made for quite a healthy sum, with The Times-Picayune (via Omega Underground) reporting that the film has a production budget of $155 million.

This figure stems, however, from a 2015 filing, and as the film has undergone many changes since then, it’s hard to say just what kind of bank balance Gambit will be working with.
