Wally West may replace Firestorm in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow

January 12, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Originally published January 12, 2018. Updated January 13, 2018.

With DC’s Legends of Tomorrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim previously revealing that Firestorm’s spot on the roster of the time-travelling heroes will be filled by an existing Arrowverse character, and now it seems we may know who’ll be taking his spot.

Speaking at the Television Critics Assocation winter press tour, The CW’s president Mark Pedowitz was asked by BlackGirlNerds how the show will handle Firestorm’s absence, responding that: “You might see Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) show up on Legends.”

Pedowitz refused to be drawn into the possibility of Wally becoming a permanent fixture on the show, adding: “You’ll have to watch [laughs].”

Wally’s role in the latest season of The Flash has been fairly limited, so a switch to Legends would definitely make sense. Let us know what you make of the idea in the comments below…
