Following on from today’s new images [check them out here], it seems we now have confirmation on the running time for Avengers: Infinity War, and as you might expect given that it will have a “payoff for every narrative thread” of the Marvel Cinematic Universe so far, the superhero blockbuster is going to clock in as the longest Marvel Studios movie to date.
According to a listing on AMC Theaters (via Dark Horizons), Infinity War will run for 156 minutes, putting it ahead of the 148 minute running time of directors Anthony and Joe Russo’s previous Marvel outing Captain America: Civil War. The first Avengers ran for 143 minutes, with Avengers: Age of Ultron running for 141 minutes.
UPDATE: Fandango has now confirmed the running time as 156 minutes.
