Luke Evans (Beauty and the Beast) has signed on to star alongside Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston in Netflix’s upcoming comedy Murder Mystery.
The film is being directed by Kyle Newacheck (Workaholics) from a script by James Vanderbilt (Zodiac), and sees Sandler as a New York cop who takes a trip to Europe with his wife (Aniston). On their travels, they are invited to an intimate family gathering on the yacht of elderly billionaire Malcolm Quince, and when he is murdered the couple become the prime suspects.
Evans is currently starring in the TV series The Alienist, and has several features on his upcoming slate include Luc Besson’s Anna, the horror Ma, and thriller Angel of Mine, the latter of which is currently in production.
