Iconic Rangers return for Power Rangers 25th anniversary episode of Super Ninja Steel this August

July 30, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Saban and Nickelodeon have announced that it will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Power Rangers franchise by airing a very special episode of Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel on August 28th at 8pm, the same day the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series premiered over 25 years ago.

In the anniversary episode, the Super Ninja Steel Rangers must team up with a number of legendary Rangers in order to save the world, including Tommy Oliver played by Jason David Frank (the original Green and White Mighty Morphin Power Ranger), Kat Hillard played by Catherine Sutherland (the Mighty Morphin, Zeo, and Turbo Pink Ranger), Wes Collins played by Jason Faunt (the Red Time Force Ranger), and more soon to be revealed Rangers from past seasons.

Thanks to IGN, we’ve got a first look image of Kat, Wes and Tommy as they prepare to morph:

Power Rangers Ninja Steel’s midseason premiere takes place on August 25th at noon, with the 25th anniversary episode airing on August 28th at 8pm.
