Daredevil season 3 trailer showcases the origin of Bullseye

October 6, 2018 by Amie Cranswick

Having been rumoured for months, Marvel and Netflix have now confirmed that the classic Daredevil villain Bullseye is set to bring pain and torment to Matt Murdock in the third season of the hit series with the release of a brand new trailer that introduces us to the FBI sharpshooper ‘Poindexter’, played by Wilson Bethel.

We’ve known for a while now that season three will incorporate elements of the Born Again comic book storyline, in which the Kingpin sets out to destroy Daredevil’s personal and professional life after discovering his identity as Matt Murdock. In that storyline, Kingpin arranges for an impostor to pose as Daredevil – a role that Dex/Bullseye appears to be filling here.

Oh, and the final “Hello Karen” line… probably not good news for Ms. Page.

Season three of Daredevil sees Charlie Cox (Matt Murdoch/Daredevil), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson) and Vincent D’Onofrio (Wilson Fisk/The Kingpin) all returning to the cast alongside new additions Joanne Whalley (Wolf Hall) as Sister Maggie and Wilson Bethel (Hart of Dixie) as Bullseye. It is set to arrive on Netflix on October 19th.
