Maisie Williams discusses Arya’s final ever Game of Thrones scene

October 18, 2018 by Samuel Brace

Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams has shared details regarding her final scene on the show.

The wait for Game of Thrones’ final ever season continues to be a long and arduous one, with fans all around the world eager to see just how things end for all their favourite characters.

Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark on the show, has thrown fans a bone in a recent interview with The Guardian, revealing a little bit about her character’s final moments:

“I ended on the perfect scene. I was alone –- shocker! Arya’s always bloody alone. But I was alone and I had watched a lot of other people wrap. I knew the drill, I had seen the tears and heard the speeches.”

Williams also spoke about how she is pleased that the show is ending when it is: “I got to the end and I didn’t want more. I had exhausted every possible piece of Arya. And this season was quite big for me. I had a lot more to do. Mainly because there’s just less characters now, so everyone’s got more to do.”
