Trailer and poster for The Haunting of Sharon Tate starring Hilary Duff

Saban Films has released the first trailer for its upcoming thriller The Haunting of Sharon Tate. Written and directed by Daniel Ferrands, the film stars Hilary Duff as Sharon Tate and follows the actress in the weeks leading up to her murder, in which she is plagued by visions of her impending death. Joining Duff in the cast are Jonathan Bennett and Lydia Hearst as Tate’s friends and fellow Manson Family victims Jay Sebring and Abigail Folger; take a look at the trailer below along with the poster and official synopsis…

Pregnant with director Roman Polanski’s child and awaiting his return from Europe, 26-year-old Hollywood actress Sharon Tate becomes plagued by visions of her imminent death.

The Haunting of Sharon Tate is set for release on April 5th.
