Quentin Tarantino says his tenth film will feel “epilogue-y”

August 9, 2019 by Liam Waddington

At a recent press conference for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Quentin Tarantino has stated his 10th and possibly final film is going to feel “epilogue-y.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tarantino says his final movie, whatever it may be, will feel like an ending.

“If you think about the idea of all the movies telling one story and each film is like a train boxcar connected to each other, this one would sort of be the big show-stopping climax of it all,” said Tarantino. “And I could imagine that the 10th one would be a little more epilogue-y.”

Tarantino has previously confirmed that he plans to make only 10 movies and has one more to make as Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is the ninth film he has directed. However, the director is working on an R-Rated Star Trek that will feel like a “Pulp Fiction in space”, but has also expressed interest in a third volume in the Kill Bill series. At this point, it is unclear what his current plans are for his final film.
