Post-apocalyptic VR shooter After the Fall coming to PSVR next year

September 25, 2019 by Andrew Newton

VR game studio Vertigo Games, developer of the platinum-selling VR shooter Arizona Sunshine, has announced that their shared-world VR action FPS After the Fall will be releasing on Playstation VR next year alongside the PCVR.  As well as the good news for PSVR gamers, Vertigo has also released the first gameplay trailer and this can be seen below…

In this new trailer we are welcomed to the post-apocalyptic remains of an alternate 1980’s Los Angeles, this world has been blighted by disastrous designer drugs which in turn has resulted in a new ice age and a menacing race of former humans called Snowbreed.

After the Fall provides a cinematic and atmospheric campaign set in an alternate 1980s and ensures action packed gameplay for both solo and multiplayer gamers.  This shared world game will feature RPG elements allowing players to dig through the ruins of civilisation and use their finds to create more ranged and close combat weapons and try out different combat styles.

Throughout the remains of Los Angeles players will have to fight, using real life movements, against both the monstrous Snowbreed and the deadly forces of nature.

After the Fall will arrive on PSVR and PCVR in 2020.  To register for the beta visit here.
