Colton Haynes is returning as Roy Harper for Arrow’s final season

October 6, 2019 by Gary Collinson

While Arrow is bringing back a number of former cast members for its upcoming eighth and final season, Roy Harper actor Colton Haynes raised questions about his involvement back in August when he revealed that he hadn’t been asked back as a series regular for this final run.

However, Roy fans can now breathe a sigh of relief, as Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Haynes will be returning as Arsenal, with showrunner Beth Schwartz telling the outlet that: “We couldn’t have ended the show without having him back.”

Haynes joins the returning Willa Holland, Colin Donnell, Josh Segarra, Susanna Thomspon, Rila Fukushima, John Barrowman, and Byron Mann in the final season of Arrow, who will all guest star alongside series regulars Stephen Amell, David Ramsey, Rick Gonzalez, Juliana Harkavy, Katie Cassidy Rodgers, Joseph David-Jones, Katherine McNamara, Ben Lewis and Charlie Barnett.
