Marvel is set to relaunch its main Star Wars comic book title this January with a new series set in the aftermath of Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back, and thanks to Adventures in Poor Taste, we’ve got a look at three variant covers for the first issue from artists Mahmud Asrar (Darth Vader), Adam Hughes (Luke Skywalker) and Jen Bartel (Leia Organa); check them out here…

In the wake of the events following The Empire Strikes Back, it is a dark time for the heroes of the Rebellion. The Rebel fleet…scattered following a disastrous defeat at the Battle of Hoth.
