Peter Dinklage and Jason Momoa to team for vampire-themed action adventure movie Good Bad & Undead

May 21, 2020 by EJ Moreno

Legendary is closing a deal with Max Barbakow to direct Good Bad & Undead, an action-adventure film with a vampire twist, says an exclusive report from Deadline. Starring in this project will be Game Of Thrones alumni Peter Dinklage and Jason Momoa.

Barbakow is fresh off the Andy Samberg-Cristin Milioti film Palm Springs, which set a record at the Sundance Film Festival with a $22 million acquisition deal by Neon and Hulu in January. Dinklage recently signed on for Last Sons Of America and Momoa will star in another film from Legendary, Dune, from director Denis Villeneuve.

As per Deadline: “In Good Bad & Undead, Dinklage will play Van Helsing, last in a long line of vampire hunters. He develops an uneasy partnership with a vampire (Momoa) who has taken a vow never to kill again. Together they run a scam from town to town, where Van Helsing pretends to vanquish the vampire for money. But when a massive bounty is put on the vampire’s head, everything in this dangerous world full of monsters and magic is now after them.”

The reported intent of the film is said to be “Midnight Run in a Bram Stoker world.”
