Become the hero with My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero

April 23, 2021 by Andrew Newton

Sony Pictures Television games and Funimation have announced they will be bringing the hugely popular anime series, My Hero Academia, to Google Play and the App Store.  My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero brings the superpowered Midoriya and his trainee hero classmates to mobile gamers later this spring but is available for pre-registration now.

In My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero fans will be able to play as their characters from Class 1-A, including Midoriya, Bakugo, and Todoroki, the professional heroes such as All Might and Endeavor and the most villainous characters like Stain.  Players will be able to add all of these and more to their very own roster and use them to create a team to take on classic villains like Shigaraki and Nomu in the game’s story mode.  Heroes can also take on others ibn PvP or tackle the Allied Assault co-op mode.

“We’re incredibly excited to bring fans the first ever My Hero Academia mobile game available outside Asia,” said Paul Joffe, VP of Games at Sony Pictures Television Games. “The game is beautiful, immersive and filled with action and heroes.”

“Fresh from the launch of the new season of My Hero Academia, Funimation is committed to delighting fans on more platforms and in more ways than ever, and The Strongest Hero allows them to enjoy the franchise’s characters, content and one another on the go,” said Mitchel Berger, Senior Vice President of Global Commerce for the Funimation Global Group. “Excitement in My Hero Academia is at all all-time high, and it’s the perfect time to bring fans a new mobile gaming experience for the first time ever outside of Asia.”

My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero is available for pre-registration now on Google Play and the App Store.

Fans of My Hero Academia can head over to Funimation now and watch the recently released fifth season of the anime.
