Marvel’s She-Hulk Disney+ series adds Jameela Jamil as the villain Titania

June 11, 2021 by Liam Waddington

Collider is reporting that Marvel Studios’ upcoming Disney+ series She-Hulk has found its villain in The Good Place‘s Jameela Jamil who is set to play long-time She-Hulk antagonist Titania.

Jamil will star alongside Orphan Black’s Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk as well as Ginger Gonzaga as Walter’s best friend, Tim Roth who will be reprising his Incredible Hulk role as Emil Blonsky/Abomination, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk, and Renée Elise Goldsberry (Hamilton).

Recent rumours have also suggested that we will see the return of Krysten Ritter as detective Jessica Jones now that the rights to the character have reverted back to Marvel from Netflix.

She-Hulk will follow Jennifer Walters (Maslany), a criminal defence lawyer who finds herself transformed into the sensational She-Hulk after an emergency blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce Banner. The series has been described as a half-hour legal comedy to be directed by Kat Coiro and Anu Valia with Jessica Gao as the lead writer.
