So far, there’s been no official word from Lucasfilm or executive producers Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni as to the plans for The Mandalorian season three, although actor Carl Weathers suggested in August that filming was due to begin “within the next month” and it has been reported that it will air as part of Disney+’s 2022 slate along with Star Wars: Andor and Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi.
The first two seasons of The Mandalorian are available to stream now on Disney+ and feature a cast that includes Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito, Bill Burr, Ming-Na Wen, Temuera Morrison, Katee Sackhoff, Timothy Olyphant, Nick Nolte, Werner Herzog, Amy Sedaris, Omid Abtahi, Rosario Dawson, Sasha Banks and Mark Hamill.
