Cult thriller Hell is Empty gets a trailer ahead of March release

Ahead of its release this March, a trailer has arrived online for director Jo Shaffer’s upcoming thriller Hell is Empty, which follows a pair of young women who plot their escape from a cult on an Edenic island after becoming suspicious of its leader’s vision; watch it here…

A self-styled messiah initiates a teenage runaway into his cult of sister-wives, upsetting the delicate balance of their community fixated on sin and salvation. As the family descends into violence, two of the women plot a daring escape.

Hell is Empty stars Spencer Peppet, Nia Farrell, Travis Mitchell, Laura Resinger, Aya, Meredith Antoian, and Liam Ouweleen.

Hell is Empty arrives on digital platforms on March 1st.
