Jonathan Majors and Glen Powell take to the skies in trailer for Korean War drama Devotion

STX Films has released a trailer for director J.D. Dillard’s upcoming Korean War epic Devotion.

Based on Adam Makos’ bestselling book Devotion: An Epic Story of Heroism, Friendship, and Sacrifice, the film tells the story of pioneering naval aviator Jesse L. Brown (Jonathan Majors) and the friendship he formed with his teammate (Glen Powell) as they became the U.S Navy’s most celebrated wingmen.

DEVOTION tells the incredible true story of Jesse L. Brown (Jonathan Majors – The Harder They Fall, Da Five Bloods) a pioneering Black naval aviator, and the friendship he forged with his squadron teammate Tom Hudner (Glenn Powell – Top Gun: Maverick, Hidden Figures) during the Korean War. Pushed to their limits to become elite fighter pilots, their heroic sacrifices would ultimately make them the U.S. Navy’s most celebrated wingmen.

Also featuring in the cast of Devotion are Christina Jackson, Thomas Sadoski, Joe Jonas, Daren Kagasoff, Nick Hargrove, and Spencer Neville.

Devotion is set for release on October 14th.
