Star Wars: Visions returning for second volume of shorts on Disney+

May 31, 2022 by Gary Collinson

On Sunday at Star Wars Celebration, Lucasfilm held a special Star Wars: Visions panel to reflect on the series of Disney+ shorts, which marked the saga’s first foray into anime with instalments from a number of acclaimed Japanese anime studios.

As part of the panel, it was also announced that a second volume of Star Wars: Visions shorts will be coming to Disney+ in 2023, and this time they’ll be expanding the scope with the new shorts exploring the cultures and styles of numerous countries including Japan, US, UK, India, South Africa, South Korea, France, Spain, Ireland and Chile.
