John Boyega and Michael K. Williams star in trailer for bank robbery drama Breaking

Immediately inviting comparisons with the very best bank robbery movies in cinema history – Dog Day Afternoon, Inside Man – Bleeker Street have dropped the trailer for their ‘based on a true story’ drama Breaker, which stars John Boyega as war-veteran Brian Brown-Easley, who in a moment of desperation threatens to blow up a bank so that he might finally be heard. 

Directed by Abi Damaris Corbin, Breaking also stars the late great Michael Kenneth Williams (The Wire), Nicole Beharie (Little Fires Everywhere), Connie Britton (Friday Night Lights), Olivia Washington (The Little Things), and Selenis Leyva (Creed III); check out the tension riddled trailer below…

When Marine Veteran Brian Brown-Easley is denied support from Veterans Affairs, financially desperate and running out of options, he takes a bank and several of its employees hostage, setting the stage for a tense confrontation with the police. Based on the true story.
