A Halloween update arrives for The Walking Dead: All-Stars

October 27, 2022 by Andrew Newton

Com2uS Holdings and Skybound Entertainment have released an update for their mobile collection RPG The Walking Dead: All-Stars that provides fans with new thrills and chills just in time for Halloween.  There’s a Halloween town to explore, new characters, limited events, a new community-based mode and much more.

This latest The Walking Dead: All-Stars update gets players teaming up with fellow survivors to defeat a powerful new foe in a new Total War event.  Players taking part can earn ranking rewards, like the Conduct Manual.  Those getting within the first fifty positions will receive the Challenger title and a number of gold bars.

Those players who have managed to clear stage 19-4 in World will be able to receive rewards such as Skill Manual simply by exploring the Survival Record 1-9.  There will also be Personal Gear for bystander characters, this gear is unique to a legend level or higher character and can provide additional abilities.

The update also introduces Henry, a new and powerful young ally created exclusively for the game.  This ally is able to attack multiple enemies by throwing balloons filled with red paint into the air and popping them with a basic shooting attack.  As well as this he has the ability to increase allies’ attacking speed and the possibility of critical strike attacks.

Henry isn’t the only new character to arrive in the game as Yumiko, from The Walking Dead comics, also makes a return and can be recruited as an epic-class character.  Yumiko is a bystander  and ranger class character who uses a bow to fire three hazardous arrows in a row.  Her attacking skills include the following – basic piercing arrow attack, poisoned arrow attack and ambush assassinations that deal major damage to the weakest enemies.

The All-Stars’ Town area has been decorated for Halloween and the character Abraham can be dressed up with Wild Rider, a brand new skin.  Look out for more character skins coming in the future.

Finally, from 2nd to 15th November players can take part in Kyla’s Battle Group Test where they have the chance to earn tokens in a series of PvP battles.  These tokens can be exchanged for Overseer/Warlord characters or Henry’s chat emoji.  There will also be gifts available through a Halloween login event, town management, survival support event and more, these gifts can include gold bars, items for character growth or Normal Recruit Tickets.

The Walking Dead: All-Stars can be downloaded now from the App Store or Google Play.
