Rise of the Footsoldier: The Mobile Game releasing in January

December 13, 2022 by Gary Collinson

Carnaby International has announced that it is bringing the British indie film franchise Rise of the Footsoldier to mobile devices in 2023 with an all-new video game which reimagines the series as an old-school Beat ’em Up.

Inspired by the 2007 British gangster film of the same name, Rise of the Footsoldier: The Mobile Game sees players take on the roles of Pat Tate, Tony Tucker and Craig Rolfe to smash their way through assorted gangsters, football hooligans, and bent cops to take on series antagonists Fisher and Greener in a new Footsoldier story.

“The game was created for fans of the franchise to give them the opportunity to play a quality action game as the characters from the film,” states franchise producers Andrew Loveday and Terry Stone.

Football Hooligans, Bent cops, and Yacht-owning psychopaths – Rise of the Footsoldier: The Mobile Game unleashes the mayhem of the movies upon players, who can opt-in to play as one of the three anti-heroes: Pat Tate, Tony Tucker, and Craig Rolfe. The story, fitting in between Rise of the Footsoldier: Origins and Rise of the Footsoldier: Marbella, is explored through distinctive cutscenes narrated by actor Billy Murray. Players can collect and choose from a range of individual weapons, as they progress through each level.

Rise of the Footsoldier: The Mobile Game will release on iOS and Android on January 31st 2023.
