Rachel Weisz’s twins talk business in Dead Ringers clip

March 17, 2023 by Amie Cranswick

Prime Video has released a poster for the small screen reimagining of David Cronenberg’s 1988 thriller Dead Ringers, along with a clip featuring identical siblings Elliot and Beverly, both played by Rachel Weisz; take a look below…

A modern take on David Cronenberg’s 1988 thriller starring Jeremy Irons, Dead Ringers will feature Rachel Weisz playing the double-lead roles of Elliot and Beverly Mantle, twins who share everything: drugs, lovers, and an unapologetic desire to do whatever it takes—including pushing the boundaries of medical ethics—in an effort to challenge antiquated practices and bring women’s health care to the forefront.

Directed by Sean Durkin (Martha Marcy May Marlene), Karyn Kusama (Jennifer’s Body), Karena Evans (Snowfall), and Lauren Wolkstein (Y: The Last Man), the series also stars Britne Oldford (The Umbrella Academy), Poppy Liu (Better Call Saul), Michael Chernus (Severance), Jennifer Ehle (Saint Maud), and Emily Meade (The Leftovers),

Dead Ringers arrives on Prime Video on April 21st.
