Judy Greer tries to change the past in Aporia trailer

July 14, 2023 by Amie Cranswick

Well Go USA has released a poster and trailer for Aporia, the sci-fi drama from writer-director Jared Moshe.

The film follows Sophie (Judy Greer), a woman grieving the loss of her husband, who is faced with an impossible choice – and unforeseeable consequences, when she is told of a time-bending machine that could restore her former life. Watch the trailer below…

“Since losing her husband Mal (Edi Gathegi) in a drunk-driving incident, Sophie (Judy Greer) has struggled to manage crippling grief, a full-time job, and the demands of parenting her devastated teenage daughter (Faithe Herman). When her husband’s best friend Jabir (Payman Maadi), a former physicist, reveals that he has been building a time-bending machine that could restore her former life, Sophie will be faced with an impossible choice – and unforeseeable consequences.”

Featuring alongside Judy Greer in the cast of Aporia are Edi Gathegi, Payman Maadi, and Faithe Herman.

Aporia arrives in select cinemas on August 11th.
