With the Hollywood strikes in the rearview mirror, studios and actors are wasting no time. Take Ryan Reynolds, Deadpool 3, and the whole MCU as they prepare to shock the comic book landscape with their newly resumed production.
Being roughly halfway through production as director Shawn Levy, it wouldn’t be easy to step away and return, but the newest castmate looks like the real star.

Deadpool 3 was originally to be released on May 3, 2024, but since filming was halted due to the SAG-AFTRA strike, the new date is now July 26, 2024.

Deadpool 3 will be directed by Shawn Levy (Free Guy) and stars Reynolds alongside Deadpool veterans Stefan Kapacic (Colossus), Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead), Morena Baccarin (Vanessa), Karan Soni (Dopinder), Leslie Uggams (Blind Al), Shioli Kutsuna (Yukio) and Rob Delaney (Peter) as well as Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Jennifer Garner as Elektra and new additions Matthew Macfadyen (Succession) and Emma Corrin (The Crown) in as yet unspecified roles.
