Dune: Spice Wars is coming to Xbox X|S this month

November 14, 2023 by Andrew Newton

After a successful launch on PC recently, developer Shiro games and publisher Funcom have announced that Dune: Spice Wars will be arriving on Xbox Series X/S on 28th November.  Xbox gamers will soon be able to take part in the struggle for spice on the desert planet of Arrakis in 4X real-time strategy.

Dune: Spice Wars takes players to the planet of Arrakis as the leader of the forces of one of the Great Houses of the Imperium. Arrakis is a planet that the great houses frequently argue and fight over thanks to the abundance of the valuable substance known as Spice.

As a leader representing one of the houses, players will need to gather Spice by managing their forces and their economy. As there are other Houses of the Imperium on Arrakis players will also need to ensure they have an effective spy network that can feed information in advance of any major situation.

Players will be able to choose from one of six factions from the Dune universe, including the Atreides, Harkonnen or Fremen and use their unique strengths to claim the planet for themselves.

Xbox Series X/S players will be able to play Dune: Spice Wars on 28th November.
