Teens are terrorised by cursed cards in trailer for Screen Gems horror Tarot

January 30, 2024 by Matt Rodgers

Sony Pictures have shown their hand by debuting the trailer for the forthcoming Screen Gems horror movie Tarot.

The horror film focuses on a bunch of teens who commit that staple genre sin of heeding no warning when reading a set of cursed tarot cards that unleashes an unspeakable evil.

Based on the novel by Nicholas Adams, Tarot has been written for the screen and directed by Spenser Cohen & Anna Halberg (Blink), and stars Harriet Slater (Pennyworth), Adain Bradley (Wrong Turn), Avantika (Mean Girls), and Jacob Batalon (Spider-Man: Homecoming). You can check out the poster and trailer below…

When a group of friends recklessly violates the sacred rule of Tarot readings – never use someone else’s deck – they unknowingly unleash an unspeakable evil trapped within the cursed cards. One by one, they come face to face with fate and end up in a race against death to escape the future foretold in their readings.

TAROT is Only In Cinemas May 10, 2024.
