5 Wrestlers We Must See In All Elite Wrestling

January 12, 2019 by EJ Moreno

3. Viper (Piper Niven)

Viper is the type of woman you can build an entire division around. Brutal and beautiful, Viper would easily shine in All Elite Wrestling as a powerhouse in the women’s division. She appeared in the 2017 Mae Young Classic as Piper Niven, making a lasting impression in the tournament, even if she didn’t take home the win. Her star potential grew into its own though when she started wrestling in Japan’s STARDOM promotion. Include her background in the United Kingdom, and she’s the type of global name that would draw in eyes from all over. Viper is the real deal in women’s wrestling.

2. Jonathan Gresham

Not to take away from Ring of Honor, but it is insane that Jonathan Gresham isn’t a top-tier champion by now. The man is impressive in the ring, holding his own against the likes of Zack Sabre Jr. and Jay Lethal, but Gresham also more personality than he’s given credit. Give him the time, and the platform and Jonathan Gresham is a name that will put butts into seats. ROH doesn’t need to take another loss in their roster, but if it means making Gresham a star of All Elite Wrestling, then I think all fans could agree on that. Also, please bring the talented Jordynne Grace too!

1. The Lucha Brothers (Pentagon Jr. and Fenix)

Without a doubt, the duo of Pentagon Jr. and Fenix are two of the biggest stars in wrestling today. Both men had matches at The Elite’s ALL IN event and appeared on weekly wrestling shows like Lucha Underground and Impact Wrestling. With that stacked resume, both men being a part of All Elite Wrestling would solidify the company as the real deal. This signing would send waves through the industry, especially since WWE has actively sought after both wrestlers for quite some time now. AEW can build a company around these two; ask any promotion they’ve graced.
