A teenage girl travels back in time to stop her sister’s murder in Netflix’s Time Cut trailer

October 4, 2024 by Matt Rodgers

Netflix has released the trailer for Time Cut, their science-fiction film that centres on a teenage girl who discovers a time machine, and uses it to travel back to the noughties in order to try and prevent the murder of her sister.

Directed by Hannah Macpherson (T@gged) and written by Macpherson and Michael Kennedy (Freaky), Time Cut stars Madison Bailey, Antonia Gentry, Michael Shanks, Griffin Gluck, Summer H. Howell, Megan Best, Adam Hurtig, Samuel Braun, Sydney Sabiston, and Rachael Crawford. Watch the trailer below…

“When Lucy Field discovers a time machine — just another day in the life of a high school science whiz — she decides to travel back and prevent the crime that’s haunted her young life: the murder of her older sister Summer. Can she survive the early ’00s and unmask the killer? Or will she say “Bye Bye Bye”… to her life?!? Only time will tell.”

Time Cut streams on Netflix from October 30th.
