Adam Scott (Big Little Lies, Ghosted) is heading to the fifth dimension, with Deadline reporting that the actor has been cast in CBS All Access’ The Twilight Zone.
Scott will appear in ‘Nightmare at 30,000 Feet’, a remake of the classic episode ‘Nightmare at 20,000 Feet’, which was based on a story by Richard Matheson and saw William Shatner playing a passenger on a plane who is the only one on board able to see a gremlin on the wing.
The episode was previously remade for 1983’s Twilight Zone: The Movie, with George Miller (Mad Max: Fury Road) directing John Lithgow in the Shatner role.
The rebooted Twilight Zone is being executive produced and hosted by Jordan Peele, while Sanaa Lathan (American Assassin) has previously been announced as appearing in an episode called ‘Rewind’.
