Amazon loads up Secret Level for season 2

After last week’s premiere of the animated anthology series Secret Level, Amazon has given an early renewal of a second season for the video game-centric series.

Secret Levels tells stories based in some of the most popular games in the video game industry. The series was created by Love, Death + Robots creator Tim Miller, who also serves as executive producer. Miller’s Blur Studio produces alongside Amazon MGM with Dave Wilson serving as a supervising director on the animation as well as an executive producer.

The series premiered on Amazon on December 10th with its first eight episodes and released its remaining seven yesterday. Games that were the focus of this season’s stories included Armored Core, Dungeons & Dragons, Warhammer 40,000, PAC-MAN and more.

The voice cast featured Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kevin Hart, Keanu Reeves, Temuera Morrison, Ariana Greenblatt, Heaven Hart, Emily Swallow, Gabriel Luna, Ricky Whittle, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Merle Dandridge, Claudia Doumit, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Clive Standen, Laura Bailey and Michael Beach among its talent.

SECRET LEVEL is a new adult-animated anthology series featuring original stories set within the worlds of some of the most beloved video games. From the creative minds behind LOVE, DEATH + ROBOTS, each of the 15 episodes is a celebration of games and gamers. Games that inspired the 15 epic stories include Armored Core, Concord, Crossfire, Dungeons & Dragons, Exodus, Honor of Kings, Mega Man, New World: Aeternum, PAC-MAN, various PlayStation Studios games, Sifu, Spelunky, The Outer Worlds, Unreal Tournament and Warhammer 40,000.

Secret Level is available to stream on now Prime Video.
