Amber Heard joins Elisabeth Moss in Her Smell

April 28, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Originally published April 28, 2018. Updated April 27, 2018.

Back in February it was announced that Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winner Elisabeth Moss (The Handmaid’s Tale) is reuniting with her Queen of Earth director Alex Ross Perry for Her Smell, and now comes word from Variety that Amber Heard (Justice League) has also joined the cast.

Her Smell sees Moss playing Becky Something, “a maniacally destructive punk rock star who pushes her relationships with bandmates, family and followers to the limit as she wages a years-long war against sobriety while attempting to re-engage the creativity that had once led her band to massive crossover success.” Details on Heard’s role are being kept under wraps.

The actress recently wrapped filming on Gully alongside Charlie Plummer (All the Money in the World) and reprises her Justice League role as the Atlantean Mera in the Jason Momoa-headlined DC movie Aquaman, which is set for release in December.
