Ariana Grande to Meet The Parents in upcoming comedy sequel

May 30, 2025 by Ricky Church

The fourth Meet The Parents film has been given a release date and a new addition to its cast. Joining the upcoming sequel is Wicked‘s Ariana Grande as the film is slated for a November 25th, 2026 theatrical release.

Grande will join original stars Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro, Teri Polo and Blythe Danner with series co-writer John Hamburg directing and writing the new installment. Plot details are being kept under wraps, but as fans will remember from Little Fockers Stiller’s Greg and Polo’s Pam have young children who will be young adults now and likely to play a larger role in the story.

It is unknown if any other of the franchise’s large ensemble cast will return for the fourth film. Jay Roach, the director of the original and Meet The Fockers, will produce through Delirious Media while Hamburg will produce through Particular Pictures. De Niro will also produce through his company Tribeca Pictures with Jane Rosenthal and Stiller will produce for Red Hour Films with John Lesher.

Grande, who is one of the world’s most recognizable pop singers, has been moving into acting for the last several years beginning with 2021’s apocalypse comedy Don’t Look Up. She made waves as Galinda/Glinda in the feature film adaptation of the hit Broadway musical Wicked and will be seen as Glinda again in this fall in the story’s anticipated conclusion Wicked: For Good.

Meet The Parents 4 will be released on November 25th, 2026.
