Avengers: Infinity War is “going to be the biggest movie of all time”, says Tom Holland

July 5, 2017 by Jordan Jones

Avengers: Infinity War has been teased for five years now, and it’s safe to assume that the events in this movie will be extremely climactic. Funnily enough, aside from a few set photos, we have not received a ton of information about the movie as yet, and according to Spider-Man: Homecoming actor Tom Holland, the film simply needs no introduction.

Speaking to the Toronto Sun, the actor stressed the epic-scope of the film, stating that: “It needs no teasing. That movie literally needs no teasing. It’s going to be the biggest movie of all time. Believe me; no one is ready for that movie.”

Hear that Marvel fans? Tom Holland says you aren’t ready for Avengers: Infinity War. For now, we will have to take his word for it as we won’t be seeing Tom Holland, and almost the entirety of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, in Infinity War for quite some time yet. But in the meantime, we can check out Peter Parker and Tony Stark in Spider-Man: Homecoming, which opens around the world this week.

As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.

Avengers: Infinity War opens on April 27th 2018 in the UK and May 4th 2018 in the US and will feature an all-star cast including Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther), Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier), Anthony Mackie (Falcon), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Paul Bettany (Vision), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Josh Brolin (Thanos), Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), Benedict Wong (Wong), Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Dave Bautista (Drax), Bradley Cooper (Rocket), Sean Gunn (Rocket) Vin Diesel (Groot), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Pom Klementieff (Mantis), Sean Gunn (Kraglin), Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie), Samuel L.
