Black Panther set photos reveal first look at villain, Star Wars: The Last Jedi plot details, Kristen Stewart gets spooky and more – Daily News Roundup

February 9, 2017 by admin

DR. KLAUE

With Black Panther currently in production, set photos from the movie are starting to hit the Internet which are giving us some insights into the film. Some photos came out yesterday that gave us our first look at  Andy Serkis as villain Ulysses Klaue, who we last saw in Avengers: Age of Ultron. The photographer also claims that Michael B. Jordan’s Killmonger was also on set for the scene, but couldn’t snap him. Read more here.

K-STEW GETS SPOOKED

With Personal Shopper set to arrive in UK cinemas next month, a new trailer has been released for writer-director Olivier Assayas’ critically acclaimed supernatural drama which stars Kristen Stewart getting spooky. Watch the trailer here.

THE LAST JEDI IS LUKE?!

Since the reveal of Star Wars: The Last Jedi there have been a lot of questions about the plot of the movie. Some quickly figured that Jedi is also the plural, so it could be talking about Luke and Rey – which has led some to conclude that Daisy Ridley is in fact the daughter of Mark Hamill’s legendary character. Well, Disney’s Bob Iger has confirmed that Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be a “great next chapter in the iconic Skywalker family saga”. Make of that what you will, and read the full quote here.

MORE LEGO!

Even as we’re days away from the release of The LEGO Batman Movie, Warner Bros. is already prepping their next outing in the LEGO universe with The LEGO Ninjago Movie. The studio has released a trailer for the upcoming film online, and we have it for you right here.

MORE SHERLOCK!

Fans of the character won’t have to be too sad that season four of Sherlock ended (despite the huge drop in ratings) as Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly’s comedic take on the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle now has a release date. Holmes & Watson will hit theaters on August 3, 2018 through Sony Pictures. Ferrell will play the famous detective Sherlock Holmes while Reilly will be his trusty companion Dr. John Watson. Read more about it here.

ARTICLE OF THE DAY
