Bradley Cooper says he’s open to The Hangover 4

November 27, 2023 by EJ Moreno

Is Bradley Cooper done with making ‘fun’ movies? The filmmaker says no and wants you to know his new films are fun.

While speaking to host David Remnick for The New Yorker Radio Hour podcast, Cooper dives into revisiting his former film career in more comedic films.

Remnick asked Cooper: “Are you done with fun? In other words, if another kinda fun comic role came along, it was three months of your life; it’s not Hangover 5 but something of a similar spirit.”

“Well, I would do Hangover 5,” Cooper responded. “It would be Hangover 4 first, but yeah,” he jokingly corrected, adding “I would probably do Hangover 4 in an instant. Just because I love Todd Phillips, I love Zach Galifianakis, I love Ed Helms so much, I probably would.”

When Remnick asked if a fourth Hangover film could happen, Cooper replied, “I don’t think Todd’s ever going to do that.”

Cooper is currently promoting Maestro, which he calls just as fun as any other film. “There’s nothing more fun that I’ve experienced than Maestro and A Star is Born,” he said. “I wouldn’t do it if it wasn’t.”

Maestro is a towering and fearless love story chronicling the lifelong relationship between Leonard Bernstein and Felicia Montealegre Cohn Bernstein. A love letter to life and art, Maestro at its core is an emotionally epic portrayal of family and love.

Maestro is directed by Bradley Cooper, with a script from Cooper & Josh Singer. The film stars Carey Mulligan, Bradley Cooper, Matt Bomer, Maya Hawke, Sarah Silverman, Josh Hamilton, Scott Ellis, Gideon Glick, Sam Nivola, Alexa Swinton, and Miriam Shor.

Maestro will be in select theaters on November 22, 2023, and on Netflix on December 20, 2023.
