Deadline is reporting that Caitlin Carver (Rules Don’t Apply, Paper Town) has signed on to star as Nancy Kerrigan alongside Margot Robbie’s Tonya Harding in I, Tonya, the upcoming drama from director Craig Gillespie (Lars and the Real Girl).
The film will explore figure skater Harding’s involvement in the 1994 assault on her Olympic rival Kerrigan, where she was clubbed in the knee in an effort to break her leg and prevent her from competing in the Lillehammer Winter Olympics.

In addition to Carver, the cast has also been bolstered by Mckenna Grace (Designated Survivor), Bojana Novakovic (Shameless), who join the previously announced Sebastian Stan, Allison Janney, Julianne Nicholson, and Paul Walter Hauser.
