Cast and plot details for Patty Jenkins and Chris Pine’s One Day She’ll Darken announced

October 17, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Back in July it was announced that Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins will be reuniting with star Chris Pine for the drama series One Day She’ll Darken, and now TNT has announced details of the story and the remainder of the cast.

Set to join Pine in the cast of the six-episode series are India Eisley (Underworld Awakening), Jefferson Mays (Law & Order: SVU), both of whom have secured lead roles, along with Yul Vazquez (Last Flag Flying), Justin Cornwell (Training Day), Dylan Smith (Maze Runner: The Death Cure), Jay Paulson (Mad Men) and Golden Brooks (Girlfriends).

Deadline reports that the series will tell the story of “Fauna Hodel (Eisley) who was given away at birth. As Fauna begins to investigate the secrets to her past, she follows a sinister trail that swirls ever closer to an infamous Hollywood gynecologist, Dr. George Hodel (Mays), a man involved in the darkest Hollywood debauchery.”

Production on One Day She’ll Darken is set to get underway next month. Jenkins will direct the first two episodes, and is executive producing alongside Pine, writer Sam Sheridan and Michael Sugar of Anonymous Content.
