Celebrate Diddy Kong Racing’s 20th Birthday with Future Dance Land from Materia Collective

Not wanting to age anyone reading this but Diddy Kong Racing has just celebrated its twentieth birthday.  Now you expelled those expletives, you may be interested to know that Materia Collective are celebrating this classic piece of gaming history by releasing Future Dance Land: An Electronic Tribute to Diddy Kong Racing.  

Clocking in at twenty tracks, this full-length remix album from Materia Collective is a bumpin’ journey behind the wheel of the classic N64 racer, including EDM remixes of all world and boss themes.

“Diddy Kong Racing contains some of my all-time favorite game music,” notes album producer and arranger Nicholas Arden Day (aka Nikolyst). “I felt it was only fitting to combine these catchy tunes with EDM. Once I discovered the 20th anniversary of Diddy Kong Racing was approaching, the idea for this album was born.”
