Channing Tatum (Hail, Caesar!), Gina Rodriguez (Jane the Virgin) and Zendaya (Spider-Man: Homecoming) have signed on to lend their voices to the upcoming Warner Bros. animated feature Smallfoot.
Marking the directorial debut of animator Ryan O’Loughlin, Smallfoot “aims to turn the Yeti/Sasquatch lore 180 degrees, focusing on a Yeti who believes that humans exist, despite her society’s assertions to the contrary.”
Tatum’s previous voice acting credits include The LEGO Batman Movie and The Book of Life, which Rodriguez has two animated features incoming in Ferdinand and The Star, and Zendaya features in the voice cast for 2018’s Duck Duck Goose.
Production is underway on Smallfoot now, and the film is slated for release on September 14th 2018.
