Outside of subtle references and Easter Eggs, there isn’t a connection between the film and television divisions of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Naturally, this decision has its pros and cons; it allows for the differing tones to stay consistent and each area to fully focus on its characters, but the bigger picture is missing out on some interesting relationships from the comic books between these characters which would be very entertaining to see adapted.
Speaking to Sensacine, Daredevil‘s Charlie Cox expressed his desire to see Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow make an appearance on the show, as the two have been love interests in the comic books.

It’s probably worth noting that Black Widow actually wouldn’t feel out of place on Daredevil, as her dark past briefly alluded to in the nightmare hallucinations during Avengers: Age of Ultron suggests that the darker aspects of her character would fit the show’s R-rated and mature themes.
Daredevil doesn’t return until 2018, but The Defenders will hit Netflix on August 18th 2017, with Charlie Cox (Daredevil), Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), Mike Colter (Luke Cage), Finn Jones (Iron Fist), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Simone Missick (Misty Knight), Scott Glenn (Stick), Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple), Rachael Taylor (Trish Walker), Jessica Henwick (Colleen Wing) and Elodie Yung (Elektra) appearing alongside Sigourney Weaver as the villain, Alexandra.
