Christie Brinkley and Anthony Michael Hall to guest star in Vacation-themed episode of The Goldbergs

August 7, 2019 by Gary Collinson

U.S. sitcom The Goldbergs is set to pay tribute to the classic 1983 comedy National Lampoon’s Vacation with its upcoming fall premiere episode ‘Vacation’, which will feature guest appearances from the original 1983 film’s Christie Brinkley (The Girl in the Red Ferrari) and Anthony Michael Hall (Rusty Griswold).

As per Deadline, in ‘Vacation’ “Beverly (Wendi McClendon-Covey) insists the family take a road trip to go on vacation to Disneyland in Anaheim, before Erica (Hayley Orrantia) and Barry (Troy Gentile) go off to college. But, like the film, things do not go as planned as they travel across the country. Meanwhile, Erica worries more and more about her relationship with Geoff (Sam Lerner) when he teases ‘we need to talk’ and won’t tell her anything until the family returns from their adventure.”

Season six of The Goldbergs is set to premiere on ABC on Wednesday, September 25th.
