With filming on John Wick 2 set to get underway this week, The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Common (Selma, Suicide Squad) has signed on to face off against Keanu Reeves’ assassin as the sequel’s villain, described as the head of security for a female crime lord.
Meanwhile, the site is also reporting that Ian McShane will be reprising his role from the first movie as Winston, the owner of the Continental Hotel.

John Wick 2 will see Chad Stahelski returning to direct, albeit without co-director David Leitch, who is currently in pre-production on the spy thriller Coldest City.
