Corey Hawkins nabs lead in 24: Legacy

January 26, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Originally published January 26, 2016. Updated April 14, 2018.

Fox has found its lead for the upcoming 24 reboot 24: Legacy, with Corey Hawkins (Straight Outta Compton, The Walking Dead) signing on to play the new character of Eric Carter.

“Strong and smart, Eric came from a very rough background and turned his life around in the Army Rangers,” states the official character description. “Now back home in Virginia with his wife Nicole, he’s pulled back into action as his past comes looking for him.”

24: Legacy will also feature a female co-lead, while none of the original 24 cast is expected to return for the pilot.
