Crime thriller Into the Ashes adds Frank Grillo, Luke Grimes and Robert Taylor

January 21, 2018 by Amie Cranswick

Director Aaron Harvey’s upcoming crime thriller Into the Ashes has added three new names to its cast in Frank Grillo (Wolf Warrior 2), Luke Grimes (Fifty Shades of Grey) and Robert Taylor (Longmire), who join the previously announced James Badge Dale (Only the Brave) and David Cade (Training Day).

According to Deadline, the film follows Nick (Grimes), “an ex-con adjusting to a normal life in rural Alabama. When a past he thought he left behind comes back to haunt him, it forces him to come to terms with his current situation and rectify a relationship he has with his father-in-law (Taylor) — all the while dealing with the one person (Grillo) who threatens to pull his world apart.”

Filming on Into the Ashes gets underway in Alabama this coming week, with Grillo producing alongside Joe Carnahan, Jamin O’Brien, Daniel Blanc, Robert Ogden Barnum and Eric Binns.
