While a large portion of the Star Wars fan base love jumping all over the theory that Rey is of the Skywalker bloodline, some new comments from Daisy Ridley coming out of Star Wars Celebration seem to have put an end to that conversation.
Speaking to Fandango, Daisy confesses that Luke has no idea who Rey even is when she shows up at his secret Jedi Temple doorstep at the end of Star Wars: The Force Awakens with his lightsaber in hand. She also mentions that the dynamic of their relationship will be different from Luke’s journey with Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Take a look at her comments here…
